The programme is designed for anyone with a passion for typography - students, professionals or educators - who wants to engage deeply with both the theory and hands-on practice of letterpress printing.

The Graphic Matters Summer School 2025 is a three-day immersive programme taking place from 19 to 21 August 2025 in Breda, the Netherlands. It is the fourth edition of this summer school, designed for participants to develop new skills, make new connections, and immerse themselves in the world of type and typography. The programme offers the opportunity to meet design legends, attend masterclasses and collaborate with fellow creatives in a vibrant, hands-on environment. On the morning of Tuesday 19 August, we will kick off the Summer School with Current Characters VI, where all four Summer School teachers will give a presentation about their practice.
