Berlin based Retune Festival is an experimental laboratory at the intersection of art, design and technology. The festival’s exhibitions, talks, and workshops are clustered around four main themes. Immersed Narratives: an exploration of the opportunities and pitfalls of narration in virtual and augmented reality. Neuronal Creation: about the implications of ever changing Artificial Intelligence on culture and society. Networked Transplantations: explores the new field of body extensions, transhumanist practice and networked senses. Creative Production: on how creative entrepreneurs get their prototype to serial production in every city.
Visualized

Visualized is a conference around data science, data visualisation and experience design for cross-disciplinary information and communication designers! Viszualized is a one day conference with pre-conference meetups and post-conference workshops in New York. This years theme is ‘Exploring the Future of Information Communication’. This edition has 24 speakers of which ten are woman.
REDO — International Graphic Design Conference
07 – 09 October 2016, Prishtina, Kosovo
REDO is an annual three-day event in Prishtina, Kosovo. This is the sixth edition, and brings together designers from around the world to create a discourse around current issues within the practice of graphic design. Speakers are: ATLAS Studio, Maureen Mooren, NODE, Veronica Ditting, Karl Nawrot, Samuel Nyholm.

Graphic Design Festival Scotland
17 – 23 October 2016, Glasgow, Scotland
The third edition of Graphic Design Festival Scotland has a forward-thinking programme of workshops, talks, exhibitions, panel discussions, live projects, urban murals and music. The festival events are participation based to inspire young designers through active engagement. This edition marks the most ambitious programme of the festival and takes place in Glasgow.

Impakt Festival 2016
26 – 30 October 2016, Utrecht, The Netherlands
This five-day Dutch festival is in it’s 6th year. Impakt presents critical and creative views on contemporary media culture, through exhibitions, lectures and screenings at different locations in the city of Utrecht. Theme for this 2016 edition of Impakt Festival is Authenticity? Curators Barbara Cueto (1986, Spain) and Bas Hendrikx (1986, the Netherlands) show compelling new notions of authenticity from the perspectives of arts, technology and society. Questioning if authenticity still matters?
