About Post Design Tangle, Chapter 4: POWER
Design often finds itself tasked with constructing an illusion of authority and control—tangible and intangible. What are the boundaries of our agency as visual makers? What forces are enmeshed in, and perpetuated by creative practices, creative work structures and the images we produce and consume?
The final chapter of the travelling two-year design festival will present a handful of the most interesting and progressive visual communicators in the world right now to tackle the entangled reality of design. Besides inspiring talks, the festival will ensure plenty of opportunities to (re)connect with the local design community in Helsinki and to make new connections with our line-up of speakers and the international POST audience. Warm-up event hosted by Multipöly Afterparty by MYÖS Collective

Learn more about Ryan Waller
Other Means is a design company that plays with words to shape meaning. Rather than timeless, neutral systems that transfer information, their projects introduce friction to catch audiences off-guard, encouraging them to take notice and increase their awareness. This ensures that the visual languages Other Means create for their clients develop naturally over time, alongside their missions and programs, outlasting the cultural moment in which they were conceived.
