About MANIFEST:IO

MANIFEST:IO, the Symposium for New Media and Electronic Art in Berlin, returns for its third edition! Join MANIFEST:IO on Febuary 22 - 23 for a weekend of artist talks, workshops, audio-visual performances and an exhibition featuring interactive installations, VR films, and spatial sound experiences.

This year's MANIFEST:IO explores the theme of Fragmenting Places, Imagined Spaces. Reflecting on space as multimodal, between the real and the imagined, they invite conversations on the dissolution, transformation, and occupation of spaces—whether through the gradual creep of gentrification, the sudden violence of demolition, the subtle decay of forgotten landscapes, and the radical imagination of new spaces. MANIFEST:IO 2025 is 100% barrier-free/wheelchair accessible.
